The American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA) offers our supporters many opportunities to reach this influential group of professional women.

ASWA is a professional organization whose purpose is to advance the interests of women in all fields of accounting and finance. The Society was founded in 1938, and since then has grown to include nearly 100 chapters throughout the United States.

With nearly 4,000 members - 1,900 of whom are CPAs, ASWA members include partners in national, regional and local CPA firms, financial officers, controllers, academicians, financial analysts and data processing consultants, recent college graduates and women returning to the workforce. The majority of our members have attained professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CIA and CFP, making ASWA the premier association for women in accounting and related fields.

  • ASWA's 2010 Annual Conference: ASWA/AWSCPA Joint National Conference in Nashville, TN, September 27-29, 2010 at the Sheraton Music City Hotel. You won't want to miss these three education and networking packed days in the vibrant city of Nashville!
